Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, Freedom Adventures’ representative will greet you. You will be dropped  off at the hotel, and after checking in, you could walk around Thamel, a popular tourist hub in Kathmandu. Observing the market and some souvenir shopping will freshen your mind. Dinner at an excellent restaurant will give you a taste of Nepali cuisine. Your trek guide will brief you about the trip and the next day’s sightseeing trip. Overnight at Kathmandu.

After a lovely breakfast in the morning, we start guided sightseeing tour to some most historical and spiritual attraction in Kathmandu. We will be visiting some landmarks which are considered as World Heritage Sites. This Sightseeing will be fully informative and historical. We start our day from Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples, followed by Bouddanath, the ancient Buddhist Stupa is one of the largest in the world. Following our day to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, is the plaza in front of the royal place of old Bhaktapur. In the afternoon we visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and explore the old royal place complex which was built on the 14th century. After we finish sightseeing we follow the local market called Ason, crossing the busy local area we reach our hotel at Thamel. Overnight at Kathmandu.

On a 25-min scenic flight early in the morning to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. You can see amazing Himalayan ranges on the right side from the plane. With many other amazing places to visit, Pokhara is a peaceful as well as a thrilling place to be. We will have enough time to soak in the amazing ambiance and spend a lovely evening by the lake while making  final preparations for the trek tomorrow. Overnight at Pokhara.

Today we wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot. We will get fantastic view of the mountain and valley with the first ray of sun of the day. You will get a panoramic view of snow covered mountains, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Machhapuchre, Dhauragiri, Manaslu, and many more, drive back to Pokhara. After our breakfast we will drive to International Mountain Museum, where you will get closer to the culture of mountaineering. Sight seen of Old Pokhara city. Bindavashani temple, Mahendra cave and Seti gorge. Overnight at Pokhara

We drive from Pokhara to Chitwan today, which takes around 4hrs a stop for breakfast. Once in Chitwan, lunch will be served, followed by a safari by village tour on an ox cart.  After Tharu village tour, we head back to the hotel. After dinner there will be a Tharu stick dance performance. Overnight at Chitwan.

You will get a wake-up call early in the morning, after breakfast you will be transferred to the start point of an elephant safari. Elephant safari will be approx. 3hrs in the Chitwan National Park where you will encounter numerous birds and wild animals including endangered one-horned rhino. Followed the tour after your lunch at the hotel. Canoe ride, Jungle walk and elephant breeding center visit will make your day eventful and engaging with the nature and wild animals.  Overnight at Chitwan.

We drive back to Kathmandu today. It is time to say good bye to beautiful city Chitwan. Depending on our arrival at Kathmandu we explore more places in Kathmandu. We meet up for dinner and celebrate successful completion of the tour. Overnight in Kathmandu.

An amazing trip to the Himalayas concludes on this day. Freedom Adventures’ staff will drop you off at the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. Have a safe flight back!
