Itinerary

Your coordinator will welcome you at Kathmandu International Airport or any overland entry point. Settle in to your accommodation with time to refresh and rest. If you arrive in the morning, your city guide will take you around the Thamel area and Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening you will be able to discuss your further plans and meet with you city tour guide.

After am early morning breakfast at 7am, travel to Bhaktapur where there is a lot to explore. Visit the Golden Gate, ‘The 55 Window Palace’, the five tiered Nyatapol Temple, the Bhairab Temple, Dattatreya Square with it wood carvers and metalwork museum, the Potter’s Square and much more. 3-4 hours. Then it is time to head to the Vishnu temple, Changu Narayan, the most ancient temple in Kathmandu Valley. The temple was built around the 3rd Century and is home to 1600 years of Nepalese art history. Along the way, we’ll take time to visit market places and the narrow streets of old Kathmandu.

After breakfast head to another interesting location; Patan Durbar Square where you will find ancient palaces, temples and wonderful example of original architecture. Travel to Pashupatinath, the holiest Hindu Temple on earth. Continue on to Bouddhanath, largest Buddhist Stupa in south Asia, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar.
